Here is fundamental knowledge every woman should know about ther bodies. Knowledge of self is true power.
These durations are based on a standard 28-day cycle, but it's important to note that cycle lengths can vary significantly among individuals.
Follicular Phase (Day 1-14):
Begins on the first day of menstruation and lasts until ovulation. It's marked by the maturation of follicles in the ovaries.
Generally occurs around the 14th day of a typical 28-day cycle, involving the release of a mature egg from the ovary.
Ovulation Phase (Day 14):
Luteal Phase (Day 15-28):
The luteal phase occurs between ovulation and menstruation. During this time, the uterine lining thickens and progesterone levels rise.
Menstrual Phase (Day 1-5):
This is the phase where menstrual bleeding occurs if no pregnancy has taken place, typically lasting between 3 to 7 days.
